At Top Up To Teach, we’re committed to creating a safe and rewarding environment for all of our people who use the service and those who volunteer.
This means we have a safeguarding policy to ensure everyone is treated properly.
Some of our volunteers carry out roles that require them to work with people who are considered to be at higher risk of harm, including children and vulnerable adults. We carry out enhanced CRB checks for anyone delivering devices to our families and we also do not have any direct contact with under-18s; the service liaises and only collects data from parents, carers and referring partners. Our digital partners are not involved with the distribution to families.
We have a zero tolerance approach to breaches of our safeguarding protocol and thoroughly investigate all alleged breaches. We regularly review this safeguarding policy, which aims to improve the knowledge and understanding of volunteers, irrespective of their position, about safeguarding.
To ensure we are continually maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding, we monitor guidance from Government’s protocols for safeguarding. For more information, please contact info@topuptoteach.org
